Dr. Catherine Boychuk

Dr. Catherine Boychuk graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology/Chemistry at the University of Alberta. Her knowledge from microbiology was utilized in her optometry thesis which analyzed the efficacy of several antibiotics in eye disease. She obtained a Doctorate in Optometry from Pacific University and was awarded the Butterworth-Heinemann award for clinical excellence in ocular disease. Dr. Boychuk then moved to Vancouver where she began practicing throughout the lower mainland. She became an associate at Westview Optometry in 2018 and subsequently the owner at the beginning of 2020. The purchase of the clinic has been extremely rewarding as Dr.Boychuk enjoys North Vancouver and the wonderful North Shore community.
